The MFA Program is keeping the Fall 2014 Reading Series rolling by co-sponsoring a reading by novelist Maud Casey with Writing At Queens. Her latest novel, The Man Who Walked Away, is set in nineteenth-century rural France and is a fictional retelling of the life of Albert Dadas, a historical figure who wandered vast landscapes in fugue states and was much studied by psychologists.

WAQ’s own Jason Tougaw will be introducing Casey, which is fitting because he has an incredible interview with her on his own blog, Californica:

Casey is, by all accounts, a very charismatic reader, so this a reading you should be going to.  Head to the reading’s Facebook invitation and let us know you’re coming.
